HootSuite Introduces Four New Tools to App Directory
August 28th, 2012
According to a recent HootSuite blog post, four new tools have been added to the App Directory: Twitter analytics tool SocialBro, polling platform GoPollGo, outreach marketing tool NeedTagger, and video creation app Videolicious. The blog post states the new batch of tools will provide users with insight into audience activity, demographics, interests, and opinions, which can ultimately help marketers better interact with clients and prospects via social media.
The SocialBro app gives marketers the ability to browse their Twitter community, determine the best time to Tweet, and analyze insights about audience activity that can help them create targeted content relevant to their users’ interests. GoPollGo provides marketers with the option to create polls designed to gather audience feedback; the polls can be sent to other social media platforms, the results of which can be seen in real time. The NeedTagger app is an outreach marketing tool that can help marketers discover Twitter users who are mentioning a need for a service or product a specific business provides. NeedTagger allows marketers to filter potential customer needs related to a specific industry through one of 50 pre-tested filters. Finally, Videolicious allows marketers to create and stream high quality videos on the HootSuite dash and additional social networks.
A recent CMS Wire article stated “The four new integrations, SocialBro, GoPollGo, NeedTagger and Videolicious, are designed to help HootSuite clients turn real-time social media messages into customer insights and marketing assets tied and customized to their businesses.” HootSuite stated that the release of these new apps is part of its ongoing effort to provide its users with tools geared toward customer support, CRM, digital marketing, content publishing and more.
In combination with HootSuite’s recent automation scheduling feature, which allows marketers to schedule posts during peak times of the day for maximum exposure, marketers can drive brand visibility and social interaction by using these new tools to better understand their audience.
