Hootsuite has recently updated its “AutoScheduling” functionality, allowing marketers to spend less time finding content and more time scheduling posts. According to an announcement on the Hootsuite blog, this new feature will offer users the ability to automatically queue messages to be posted during optimal times of the day for visibility within the dashboard.
After composing a message, users will be given the option to send the message in real time, manually schedule the post, or utilize the new AutoSchedule feature. When selecting the new feature, a clock icon will appear next to the message and, like a manually scheduled post, the message can be rescheduled at any time, affording marketers even more ease of use within the Hootsuite dashboard.
HootSuite CEO, Ryan Holmes, says about the new AutoSchedule feature, “It’s really quite simple – instead of our users manually selecting what time they want to schedule or post their social media messages using our Scheduling feature, they can opt to use our new AutoSchedule technology to optimize and automate the scheduling process. We want our users spending more time finding and sharing content and less time worrying about the best time of day to share it.”
Social media automation continues to rise in importance and adoption, allowing ease of use and pre-scheduled posts. This feature is just the latest automation tool marketers can utilize to automatically schedule posts for optimal times of the day and promote increased visibility and interaction for their messages.
