Creating brand loyalty through email subscribers

Soon after one restaurant chain rolled out an email marketing campaign, it was able to attract thousands of subscribers to better engage with customers.

Pei Wei Asian Diner, which is a subsidiary of P.F. Chang's, recently announced that its marketing effort had resulted in 20,000 customers signing up to be part of its mailing list. The restaurant is using it to promote new menu items including its Caramel Chicken entree. In order to sign the subscribers, the brand relied on in-store and mobile outreach efforts.

According to one expert, the more platforms that a company gains exposure through the better.

“Effective marketing requires brands to rapidly embrace the new reality of cross-channel marketing and create opportunities to engage with consumers in real time to deliver true customer value,” Tim Kopp, ExactTarget chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

No matter what type of outreach a firm decides to use, whether it be social media or search engine marketing, getting more attention through these efforts could mean higher revenue in the future.
