Professional Biography
Bringing together experience within the Financial Industry and Information Technology, Derek’s past professional experience includes work in the Professional Services division of Bowe Bell & Howell’s Software Solutions as well as work with the Web Marketing Division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. In addition, Derek has worked on several independent web design, development and marketing projects and has experience working with companies in retail e-commerce, real estate, travel and hospitality and the business services industries.
Derek has presented to audiences for Business Wire and Microsoft, has been a guest lecturer at Bentley College and is active in a range of New England communities supporting online marketing.
Derek received his MBA from The Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University and holds a B.S. in Financial Economics from Buffalo State College in NY. He also maintains a personal blog on search engine marketing, social media and the Cape Cod community at Cape Cod SEO, and is an avid sports (and fantasy sports) fan.
